conidia in vivo non septate. Chlamydospores absent in vitro. Phialophores smooth walled, multi-septate, phialides lageniform, transition abrupt. Ventre longer than collarette. Conidia length=7.1–8.2µm (µ=7.7, σ=0.36), width=0.7–1.1µm (µ=1.0, σ=0.15), Q=6.7–10.5µm (µ=8.24, σ=1.61), n=6. Collarette to 12um. Around C. longipes/novaezelandiae. FTA card. Sequence near one deposited as C. hughesii but that septate.
